NEET Hello Work 8: Chapter 4

When I arrived at the living room, I saw everyone have gathered. It seems that they are discussing the route to the Empire.

“I have thought of two routes.”

Route A is basically like our original plan, where we go through the Imperial City. We will visit the Imperial City, then Ellie’s hometown, then the Sacred Land of Sword and circled to the Fortress.

As for route B, we go through the Fortress, the Sacred Land of Sword and Ellie’s hometown.

Route A is a long detour, but it also has its advantages.

“Route B goes along the frontier, so the chance to encounter monsters are higher. The route around the Imperial city is safer, at least the part nearby my hometown is. The roads and inns are pretty well maintained.”

Besides the roads, another advantage is how the inn is well-maintained. In addition, Lilia’s Spirit “Fly” has a good speed, hence it does not matter much to take a detour. However,  

“Let us go with B route. Shira has received her Protection. She shall hunt monsters post haste.”

“Oh my, congratulations.”

So, Ellie said quickly.

“Aren’t you surprised?”

“I was told by Sati that it’s just a matter of time. So, what is the person in question is doing right now?”

“Since I have improved her skills, she is currently testing her power with Sati as her opponent.”

“Neglecting Masaru after getting her blessing of Protection. What a girl.”

“It has always been Shira’s dream to become much stronger. That girl must be ecstatic right now.”

It would be a lie if I said that I never anticipated it, but it is not like I am having problem with my partners? I am not starving for it, no?

“Today is my day.”

After said so, Tilika lean over her body and wrapped her hands around me.
