NEET Hello Work 8: Chapter 2

I don’t think we have spare time to waste. Although the trip to the Imperial Capital were originally supposed to be a casual vacation trip, just how did it turn into this situation.

“We don’t have any business to do at the Imperial Capital. It’s good enough to go there after everything has settle down.”

Everyone agrees with Ellie’s suggestion. But the one who wants to play the most is me!

“And lastly, the third one……regarding the Hilgis Recapture operation that is planned for several months after, the truth is I’ve received the invitation to participate.”

“Isn’t that fine. This is our great chance to make our name!”

“If anyone is in trouble, we should help.”

Ellie’s approval is expected, but even Ann is on board.

“But the battle is dangerous and will drag for a long time. Plus, the reward will be the same as the emergency request.”

“The danger is irrelevant. We have more than enough firepower.”

Tilika who had been silently listening so far, said so. Well, when compared to our household, there might not be much danger.

“Do you have trouble with money?”

I managed to earn a lot here in the Royal Capital. I will be fine without working nowadays.

Just like I imagined, everyone wholly agreed to take on the quest.

“Masaru, is there anything that make you feel reluctant to take it?”

So, Tilika asked me with a worried look.

“No, I already informed them that I am going.”

The thing that made me feel most reluctant looking forward and worried the most is of course, joining the training.

“Oh my? It’s rare to see you so motivated from the get-go.”

So, Ellie nods her head.

“Yeah. More or less.”

Alright. Here goes the main discussion for our main topic.

“Just now, a new Oracle has just descended and passed to me.”

Tension arise on everyone previously relaxed faces when the word Oracle came out of my mouth.

  1. Thanks for the chapter!!! Soo on the part where Masaru returns to the elf castle, is it supposed to repeat the sentence twice?

  2. Part 7 and part 8 is the same entry, so you skipped an entire part of the translation. It feels like a bad jump cut to section 9. Seriously, why are you splitting the chapter into so many pieces, it’s pretty repugnant when I read on my cellphone. I appreciate the work you are doing, but the presentation is leaving me with lots of doubts to the reason why.

    1. Agreed. I can understand splitting it into a few parts, but more then 4 or 5 is excessive.
Ad revenue is a thing and understandable to try an milk a few extra pennies, but going too far will just encourage readers to go elsewhere, or just skip it all together.
