“First of all, let me congratulate Sati. She overcame a truly formidable enemy and won the overall championship. Even the Guild’s Chief is very pleased. We were having a talk about acknowledging Sati as an A rank.”

“Thank you very much. I’m very excited to hear that!”

Does it mean my rank will rise same as Sati? Well, Sati did earn them with her own ability though.

“And next, Masaru. It wasn’t a very good occasion, but you did fight well, and you got up many times without giving up. You made me damn proud.”

“T-thank you very much, Sergeant dono.”

Ah, not good. That didn’t turn out good. These are the words that made me the happiest coming from Sergeant dono.

“It’s like I said, both of you did managed to gain good experience out of this, right?”

“Yes. I think it is an invaluable experience. Though, if I were told to re-do it all over again, then I’ll have to say I dislike that.”

“The tournament held in Empire is in higher level. They will serve as good experience too, you know?”

We already encountered a terrible experience here in Kingdom’s tournament. I’m sure that waiting for us in the Empire’s tournament are harsher competitions and more terrible experience. I don’t want to knowingly throw myself into these landmines.

I laughed deceivingly.

“That’s right. I’ve decided to take up the training with the Sword Saint like Sergeant dono has suggested before.”

“I’ve heard about it from Armand. I hope you will get the guidance’s properly. Or so I would like to say……”

“What is it?”

“Here is the main topic. There is a quest for Masaru’s party. It’s a transportation mission.”

“A transportation missions?”

“I want you to carry as much food and supplies as possible to the Imperial fortress of Brumdal”

Fort Brumdal? That place must be nearby the empire or within its range since we are heading over there.

“I guess you are unfamiliar with the name?”

Well, I don’t even know the name of some places nearby, not to mention the one inside the Empire territory.
